Foster Care in Georgia
Georgia currently has over 11,000 children and teens in foster care. The state Department of Family and Children Services recruits, trains, and supports foster parents and individuals interested in becoming foster parents. There are over 100 private agencies across the state with the same purpose. These organizations expand the options for caregivers and allows them to determine the agency, public or private, that is the best fit for them. (Foster Georgia)

Volunteer
Georgia CASA (Statewide) – Georgia Court Appointed Special Advocates, Inc. (Georgia CASA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care throughout the state. By advocating for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, our volunteers amplify each child’s voice and help change a child’s story. GET STARTED

Bloom Our Youth – A nationally-recognized and accredited 501(c)3 non-profit located in Fayetteville, GA. Bloom connects the community to evidence-based, outcome driven programs that support and strengthen the lives of vulnerable children and their families.
